Missie Peters is taking
her brand-new, second solo show, ‘Where’s My Flying Car?!’ on tour across Western Canada
this summer.
‘Flying Car’ is a futuristic romp through the eyes of an
array of fascinating characters, including a robotic grocery store cashier, a
cyborg dancer and an archaeologist digging for computer parts.
The show
combines spoken word, comedy and theatre into a compelling critique with “an emotional
resonance… that even Spock couldn’t deny” John Threfall – Culture Vulture.
“I am a huge science fiction geek,” says Missie Peters. “So
I’ve always been fascinated by the future. In addition to having fun with
classic sci-fi tropes, this show explores why our visions of the future hardly
ever match up with our reality. Also, I wear a silver onsie.”
